enjoying (sort of) a Yukon Grande. Not the best blend they ever came up

I will probably have to wait till I get back from Germany to get Code Warrior - it's on order but not yet shipped. "Something like 2 weeks, but don't quote me," said the sales rep on the phone. She sounded fuckable. I forget her name.
Hard to believe I'm headed back to the fatherland after three years. Will everything look the same? What surprises am I in for? Must remember to make sure to remember to remind myself to take care of business with Hamburg-Mannheimer, get whatever funds I can out of that ASAP. I could use a little fat on the land.
Gorgeous weather today finally after seems like 2 weeks just rain and clouds and cold. Perfect temp... short-sleeved shirt but not chilly. I left the house early for my walk so as to go shopping at the Vitamin Shoppe, but I got there just a minute too late; probably owing to the photography diddling I allowed myself on the way. I found particular fascination for a green-and-rust colored scrap steel dumpster. Texture, you know... Last night on my walk home I found myself going through my L. Cohen repertoire out loud - suddenly realizing a strange truth about walking across the bridge... you're really more alone that you can usually be in this city. Perhaps that's part of it's allure to me. People occasionally ask when I will be musically active again; I have no idea what to tell them. Though last night I did fantasize about doing the Cohen thing, this time with ----- and her guitarist as accompaniment (guit/bs/keys, VOCALS), not a bad idea....
I broke down and bought a HotSync cradle for work last night, delivered from Urban Fetch, God bless them, in under an hour for the same darn price I'd be paying anywhere else, plus shipping, plus waiting two or three days. Probably good idea to patronize such services liberally so as to encourage their expansion of available goods.
I can't completely understand why I
seem to have been gaining weight over the past four or five days....
synchronous menses with -----???? Crazy as it sounds.... it's all
water weight. (must break to get to work on time)
